Sinclair was the better player but Antonio is more effective.
Sinclair is a racist cunt though but that tends to get forgotten as he apologised.

Sinclair played 6 seasons i believe, if Antonio has another 2 full good seasons he will be on par with Sincs stats wise goals/assists..
Although i agree that sincs was easier on the eye, ie less frustrating :)

Sinclair the more skilful player.
But I'll remember Antonio more fondly. Uncultured often, played out of position, got injured, went shit, but finished this season brilliantly. When he's on his game he will run through brick walls and was great yesterday. Lad. He's classic West Ham.

But most of his detractors were not just saying he was going through a bad patch, they were generally slagging him off for being a shit footballer as well. Which he isn't. A lot of the criticism was unfounded and unfair, and many of those who made it are reluctant to praise him now.

I cant chose between the pair of them.
Fabianski rightly deserves hammer of the year Rice next closely followed by Antonio.
Antonio this season has given it his all,he works tirelessly and improved as the season gone on.He's obviously enjoying playing for us that's good enough for me,oh and stroking the brand spanking new carpet was a masterstroke.

The reason why many were “cunting Antonio off” earlier in the season was because he was shit.
However, he clearly knuckled down and has started producing what we all know he can. You can’t just take the plaudits when you’re great and get no criticism when you’re not performing.
Antonio’s had plenty of praise lately on here so I’m not sure why you’re saying that everyone has gone very quiet,

selfish? he played in various positions and did well, even at times as a wingback when Harry picked three CBs, and never moaned. probably one of the least selfish players I've watched

I'm a big fan of them both. I thought that Tricky Trev was our best attcking player for a couple of years; way more effective and reliable than Di Canio.
I've always backed Antonio because when he's fit he's strong, pacey, fearless and scores goals. Funny how the many on here who were cunting him off earlier in the season have gone very quiet.
Anyway, as good as Maichail is on his day Trevor was definitely the better player. He had more of a footballing brain which gives him the edge.

Sinclair was brilliant for us. Up there with the very best we’ve had in recent years. Antonio has been great for us in the main but there’s no contest.

Sinclair. One of my all time favourite hammers. Until the 2002 world cup and it seemed like he stopped trying the season afterwards.
